Learn how to DJ with Moonstone! Whether you’re a complete newbie or bedroom DJ of 6 months, there’s plenty you can learn from this 3h beginner’s DJ workshop. 

The 3h workshop will cover: 

Introduction to Digital DJing

• Introduction to Industry Standard Equipment

• Equipment Tutorial – Functions, Basic Cueing, Levels

Track Analysis & Intermediate Beat Mixing

• Track/Song Analysis of various genres of Electronic Dance Music

• DJ Mixer & Controller Functions

Basic Beat Mixing

• Tempo Shifts

• Beat Matching

• Basic Transitions

At the end of each section, all students will be able to practice before moving on to the next section. The total duration of teaching is 2h and students will be given 1h of free practice at the end to consolidate their learning. The workshop will be taught with house music. Absolute beginners and beginners welcomed. 

Learn in a safe environment and make new friends with similar interests! It’s a small class of 6 so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get tailored feedback.
